Financial stability. I am already blessed to be in an ideal location on a Caribbean Island so ideally my location is set. What I now require is the independence to seal the deal. Financial independence and stability or lack thereof greatly affect how we look at and interpret many situations in our lives. It blocks a lot of productive ideas and feeds our fear of not being able to provide for our families, especially if you head a single parent, single income house hold.
What does independence look like, sound like and feel like to ME? When I think of independence the following words come to mind:
- Fluidity – being able to go with the flow of a repeated or unexpected change of a situation.
- Flexibility – being able to adopt to those changing situations without being overwhelmed or feeling stuck.
- Freedom – to move or change direction at a moments notice and still get the job done.
- Being my own BOSS
If I can develop a lifestyle and I would say a mindset that embodies all the above, and have the financial stability to bolster, I would be a force to be reckoned with. Which is why having a support network is so vital.
